The T-96SR radio modem offers a refarming-

compliant high-speed data link suitable for a

wide variety of applications, and the system

security of diagnostics reporting.

Dataradio Inter-Operability Standard

(DI-OS) is supported by the T-96SR, providing

compatibility with the COR™ T-96S, RNet

™

9600, 9600S, and the Dataradio

T-Modem. Should your

application require a base station

or repeater configuration, the

T-96SR is designed to work with

the T-Base base station/ repeater.

The T-96SR is available in the full UHF, VHF,

and 900 MHz MAS bands.

Designed for speed and efficiency. The

T-96SR provides actual over-the-air data rates

of 19200, 9600, and 4800 bps in a 25 kHz

channel; and 9600 and 4800 bps in a 12.5 kHz

channel.

Selectable operating modes provide

further flexibility: RS-232 compatible, simplex

or half-duplex operation, RTS-CTS handshake

protocol with option for configuring any two

units as a digital repeater. Asynchronous, serial,

or transparent data formats are supported. In

addition, the T-96SR is capable of transmitting

Modbus and DNP 3.0 protocol messages.

Enriched user feature set. Front panel

LEDs provide visual indication for transmit,

receive, and power. Easy-to-use set-up software

uses a graphical interface and includes standard

built-in diagnostic package. Programming set-

up provides a unique programming ID which

allows diagnostics to be reported both locally

and “over-the-air” from any location.

The built-in radio diagnostics are capable

of reporting specific unit programming, link

testing, and radio performance statistics such

as: RSSI, temperature, supply voltage, plus

additional parameters throughout the radio.

Radio diagnostic information can be sent online

with each reply—no interruption in the

application, minimum overhead. The T-96SR

diagnostic output will support the OPC Enabled

Diagnostics feature.

The overall rugged design is optimized

specifically for data transmission, providing an

economical solution without the cost of

additional options.
